Gabriel Todd Faz, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is a highly trained board-certified interventional cardiologist at Mission Heart & Vascular in Mission, Texas. Dr. Faz has many years of medical experience and is an expert in his field.
He received bachelor’s degrees in biology and chemistry at the University of Texas in San Antonio. He earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas.
His postgraduate training includes a research fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center, an internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, and fellowships in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular medicine at UF Health & Shands in Jacksonville, Florida.
Dr. Faz received the Outstanding Resident in Quality and Patient Safety Award and was the American Heart Association’s 14th Annual Vestido Rojo Keynote Speaker in 2019. He has published numerous research studies in prestigious medical journals.
Dr. Faz maintains his medical credentials with continuing education to stay current with the latest advancements in interventional cardiology.
He’s a member of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, American Medical Association, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, and the European Society of Cardiology.
