Kiran Mangalpally, MD, is an interventional cardiologist at Mission Heart & Vascular in Mission, Texas.
Dr. Mangalpally earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India. He received his Master of Science in public health from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and his Master of Public Health from Eastern Kentucky University.
Upon graduating, he completed his internship and residency in internal medicine from Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital in New York. Dr. Mangalpally then pursued postdoctoral research at Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center, a clinical pharmacology fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine, a cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at Sparrow Hospital, and a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center.
Prior to joining the team at Mission Heart & Vascular, Dr. Mangalpally worked as an interventional cardiologist at hospitals in Florida and Illinois. He is currently also an interventional cardiologist at Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood and Pampa Regional Medical Center.
